Is this the pub with possibly the best outlook in NZ? It's got to be in the top 10 for sure. Love this place. Good selection of beer... even for us craft beer enthusiasts. Food is great too
Great food in a chilled out, friendly atmosphere. The staff were friendly, beer was cold and the food was out in reasonable time even though there was quite a number of people there.
Very relaxed atmosphere at this seaside pub, dining, and hotel.. Beers & wines excellent selection. We had dinner with very good chowder and a top class Pork belly main. Thks to staff.
Kitchen was un organised and our food came out at different times. Some staff were nice and helpful but the others gave us the cold shoulder, would not come here again if I could help it.
Opononi pub. Great place to visit. Friendly staff, Shuttle service. Excellent Seaviews. Relaxed atmosphere. Live music.

Nice location for sure. But classic menu item interpretation is a bit off. Also we asked for side plates twice. Both times they were dirty.
Great place for an evening meal and a cold beer. Service and staff brilliant and very welcoming.
