Great food. Good service. Bit loud due to hard surfaces but not too offensive
Coffee was all good ......but ....... Wanted a peppermint tea. We don't have peppermint tea but have fresh mint tea. Well it's exactly that, mint leaves in a tea pot. Mint growing in garden outside ...... So $4.50 for mint in a tea pot that hubby didn't even drink because he didn't like it.
Got there at 2:03pm, kitchen closes at 2pm maybe should just call it "Opera" after 2pm. Asked for quiche from the cabinet, got served a bacon and egg pastry thing... Close I guess, but it wasn't the quiche. At least the coffee was good.
The salad portion for $13.50 Large was pathetic, hardly a small. Terribly over priced for what it was. After taking it back, I was reassured the portion was correct. Under new management won't go back.
Cute quiet little Cafe with yummy delicious food
Good coffee but not so impressed with the lunch choices. Didn't like their homemade wedges who where soaky soft. Price for a glass rose"over-prized".
Delicious pastries and probably the best fish and chips I've ever had get pan fried. Friendly service. One of my favorite places in Hastings/Hawke's Bay.
