This page is a family friendly page for our school community and admin will check all posts.

Please make yourself familiar with our page guidelines and rules below.

GENERAL RULES:
• We do not endorse children under the Facebook age of 13 years creating their own Facebook accounts. We encourage parents to share our page with their children through their accounts and to use our Facebook page as a role model for communication through social media.
• No derogatory, racist or offensive comments. Please refrain from attacking others & slander.
• No Swearing
• NO SPAM
• We DO NOT allow buying/selling on this page – we suggest the following Facebook pages:

o Papakura Buy Swap Sell
• As the page administrators we reserve the right to remove any content which we deem to be in breach of these Facebook Page Rules & Guidelines. This includes discriminatory, illegal, obscene, inappropriate, objectionable or misleading/fraudulent comments, spam or any content which may break intellectual property laws. – Leona, Jenn, Kartina.


INFO-SHARING GUIDELINES:
• You may use names in posts when you wish to acknowledge someone's great work or contribution. Where students are named they should be referred to by their first name only.
• No individual photos of any students unless prior written approval given by their parent/guardian/caregiver. Group activity photos may be posted.
• We encourage you to provide feedback and comments however we ask you be respectful and contribute in a positive and constructive manner. Should you wish to bring a concern to the PTA’s attention this should be done by contacting the PTA directly to ensure we are able to deal with this matter in a timely and appropriate manner.
• We will be using this page for advertising School & PTA run events and from time to time post requests for help at PTA run events and activities such as Road Patrol, School Disco's and Lunch Orders.
• Links to positive stories in the Papakura Courier or other media outlets can be posted/shared to this page.


ADVERTISING:
• Local sports events, music, dance, arts events that Opaheke kids may be participating in can be advertised to generate support within the Opaheke community.
• Any ADS / WEBSITES / LINKS / AMBUSH MARKETING etc posted on this page WILL BE DELETED.


MEDIA:
• Media outlets or journalists are NOT permitted to use comments or names on this page for inclusion in stories or articles to be published on any media platform. This is a violation of the privacy of our members
