Just few minutes walk from the town is a lovely beach that’s perfect for walks, great when the tide is out you can walk past the rocks & see some great formations. There is also a short hike to get to a good view point
Very nice and quiet beach though can get absolutely packed during summer. Very close to the town centre. Toilets available. Very limited parking especially during high season. Great place to chill and enjoy the sunshine. One of the better beaches on Waiheke.
This is the main beach of the island they have a nice path to walk and lots of restaurants. We walk thru different beach and decided to stay in this one cause it also have toilets and a shower to rinse out all the sand. The have bbq pits almost in every beach that you can use, they are electrical. This beach have an amazing amount of shells that’s even hard to walk in with out stepping on one, ideal for a refreshing afternoon cuz the water is warm.
It's great but sometimes of the year to many boats park up here because of how close it is to all the restaurants and bars
Beautiful beach on the east coast of Waiheke Island. Stroll along the sandy white beach and take in the beauty. There are also many beautiful beach side properties to admire as well as the boats moored in the bay. This is an idyllic spot for a picnic, beach combing, swimming, sunbathing or just hanging out. Definitely worth the walk down from Oneroa township.
Great spot, Long Beach with adequate parking, east facing though so you won’t get too much sun in the later part of the afternoon.
Oneroa Beach and town is the first stop from the Passenger Wharf and is a nice calm Bay with clear blue waters. It stretches a fair bit and has some good lookouts on the east side with access to the coastal walkway. When the weather is on your side this is a great spot to take your lunch by the ocean. Great place with secluded spots and always warm waters especially in the Summer!
Oneroa Is an awesome beach. the hot fluffy sand, Along with the the clear warm water, makes the perfect beach experience. I highly recommend this beach, and its neighbor, Little Oneroa.
