Having two kids at Omokoroa Preschool has been great - my kids settled in well with teachers and staff welcoming them, helping and supporting them through the transition. My kids really enjoy the activities at daycare especially when they get to play on the big field. A highlight this year was the Matariki concert for families to enjoy. As parents we love getting the updates and photos online - and being able to talk to our kids about these experiences. Thanks for a great year.
My wee girl was a stage 5 clinger from birth so I wanted to enrol her somewhere to help her blossom and gain confidence in knowing she could be ok without mum and learn to form her own relationships. She has made the most amazing leaps and bounds in exploring new surroundings, building her own friendships and enjoying all of the amazing facilities and activities. We absolutely love the Omokoroa Preschool family and can’t recommend it highly enough!
My son has been at Omokoroa Preschool since October 2020 he has previously attended 2 other preschools and he absolutely loves it! I would say it is definitely his favourite. He asks every single day if he can go because he loves it so much. He has absolutely thrived since starting and we have noticed how quickly he is learning new skills. The teaching staff are amazing and go out of their way to ensure all my sons needs are met as well as catering to his interests. The food that is provided is excellent and I know my son is getting nutritious meals that he also finds very tasty. I would highly recommend Omokoroa Preschool to anyone. My son loves attending and the environment is always so welcoming and homely.
My two boys attend Omokoroa Preschool, one in the over 2s and one in the under 2s room. Both boys love going there, the teachers are all lovely, and show a genuine interest in the children who are well cared for. We are really happy here.
My daughter just started here about a month ago, so I was worried she might have a hard time fitting in to a new daycare, but the teachers made us both feel so welcome its been great. I'm excited to see my little girl flourish making friends and its a center that really makes you feel comfortable leaving your child there. I especially love the aspect of healthy meals being given and the huge play area outside.
I have been incredibly happy with Omokoroa Pre school. The staff are always chatty and friendly and always make the time to stop and chat about my sons day. My son was very shy and was nervous about going to kindy on his own as he normally had his brother with him. However, he has flourished within this setting and it has been wonderful to see his confidence grow. The opportunities made available are also great. My son often chats about the gardening he does in the large outside space available to him. He still tells me daily about the fire station visit he went on a few months back. Highly recommended.
Moving my child from an in-home carer to a centre was an anxious process for me. All the staff at Omokoroa Pre-school were soo welcoming and supportive. The centre has plenty of outside space, and is not over crowded with kids. I really felt a sense of family and friends, rather than a corporate business. I can’t recommend them highly enough. My son has thrived and I feel confident he will continue to do so.

I highly recommend this daycare for 0 to 6 year olds. Lovely staff, always friendly and always help when you have questions. Has a spacious outdoor area for babies and toddlers to play outside. My son been there since he was 8 months old and now 3 years old and he enjoys every moment. He even loves the chef cooking as he can be a fussy eater. 5 star rated 100%
