Dr Nick and his team took my emergency call and got my beautiful boy in to see them last minute on a Saturday afternoon. Sadly my boy Hero could not be saved but the dignity, respect, kindness and empathy that they showed myself and Hero was beyond measure. They were patient and caring and allowed me as much time as necessary to say goodbye. They handled Hero with so much love and asked me questions about his life as they slowly sent him to the rainbow bridge at my pace. Hero passed away surrounded by so much aroha and manaakitanga. Thank you for making such a hard decision so peaceful for us both you are all miracle workers for the humans that are left behind
