Omana Beach is hands down one of the best spots for families in East Auckland! The nautical-themed playground kept the kids entertained for hours. We loved that the water is shallow and safe for the little ones to splash around at high tide. A perfect, low-stress day out!
Very nice place to chill out! The beach is clean, good working toilets and water supply. There’s plenty of parking spaces. Good playground for the kids too!
Nice place to go for a walk, easy to get round to Maraetai too. Lots of decent picnic spots, bbq's and facilities in the park. Clean beaches, good parking and great views across the harbour to the different islands.
This is a walk I do regularly and never tire of. The views change daily depending on the weather, wind, rain or shine and the seasons. It is an easy walk/cycle path and great for families, pushchair friendly and dog friendly.
A peaceful beach is where the gentle rhythm of waves meets the soft golden sand, and the warm breeze carries the soothing scent of salt and freedom.
