Welcome to Old MacDonald's Rural Education and Care Centre Ltd, where children from six weeks to school age are cared for in a rural, stimulating, learning environment, offering your child the opportunity of a rural experience so close to Hamilton City.
What makes Old MacDonalds special is that your child will be nurtured in a natural environment surrounded by fresh air, large indoor and outdoor spaces, baby farm animals. Opportunities like this are very rare in the city, such as being able to handle animals, learning about growing vegetables and fruit and then going on to bottle/preserve and cook/eat the produce that they have grown.
activities such as pony riding lessons and swimming lessons, both with qualified instructors will be available to your child when you and the teaching staff feel that the time is appropriate.
Our centre is located only 7.8km from the city centre on 2 acres. So that children located throughout Hamilton can attend, will make it easier for you by offering a pick up or drop off service if you wish. Your location need not be a barrier for your child to attend this amazing centre. The modern barn style building will be 500sqm with separate areas catering to your child's developmental needs and suitability. We believe that children need space to grow and learn!
We provide quality, qualified early childhood teachers and resources and we work closely with the Ministry of Education so that we can enhance your child's learning and development.
