Old Ghost Road Luxury Accommodation at Birds Ferry Lodge

We were warmly welcomed and shared some quality time with Alison and Andre. After a lovely meal we retired to the Cottage where there was a hot fire and all the home comforts. Nice to experience the wild west coast from the comforts of this eco luxury lodge and cottage.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Birds Ferry Lodge near Westport. Bucolic, relaxing and thoroughly delightful in every way! Loved being right on the edge of a duck pond, packed with friendly ducks. Fantastic guiding to the amazing Pancake Rocks by co-host Andre and magnificent meals by co-host Alison. A great big WOW!!!

One of it's kind place! Travel is not just about visiting it's about the experience and exposure we get makes it memorable! And this place will add to it! An economic friendly Lodge and they maintin it well! Wonderful hosts too! Do give it a try you surely love this!

What an amazing setting and gorgeous view over the West Coast. You must try Alison's cooking - the biggest vege garden I have ever seen. The Ferryman's Cottage is a unique spot and perfect for a romantic stay.
