Extremely disappointing substandard stay! Reception staff were unwelcoming and off hand and failed to tell us they'd lost their liquor license when we arrived. Food was average, as were the rooms. Breakfast and office not open until 8.30!!! No MOH Covid tracing available. Whole hotel in need of an overhaul! We WONT be back!
They had lost their liquor license, but forgot to pass it on. Not a happy hubby. The walk down to the Springs is beautiful
We found our stay at this hotel good. The bed was extremely comfortable, rooms clean and the meal was very nice. More people need to visit this lovely place so it does not close. The only negative comment is that the buildings need some tlc
Surprisingly lovely, came on end of long weekend after music festival and the place was spotless and new manager very welcoming despite a huge weekend and his staff didn't turn up so twice as busy for him. Food was really nice, camped in their grounds and although a little tired it was quaint
Location peaceful and close to Tirau ... Room quite small, no fridge or hairdryer .... overpriced and hotel tired ... hot pools needed a daily clean. Meals very underwhelming for the price.
Kitchen shut so early. No remote to turn on TV, no cutlery, etc etc... hot springs looks awesome
