I’m not a local but a regular customer who comes to Taihape for work once a week, I always get sushi but I’ve tried Tempura udon this time and it was so nice! Freshly deep fried crispy veggies and a big portion of Udon with lots of toppings made my day!
I always stop here on my way through to anywhere. They have the best chicken katsu donburi bowl I have ever had!Food: 5/5
Great dining experience : The service was good and the place is very clean. I ordered the teriyaki chicken ramen for 16NZD. Noodles were springy and chewy but not too soft. Soup was tasty and a bit spicy since I ordered mild spicy. There were carrots and brocoli in the soup. Teriyaki chicken was super nice especially with the sauce. Really awesome place! Delicious freshly prepared spicy chicken donburi. Prompt service. An unexpected delight in Taihape!
Ordered a chicken katsu donburi and it was the best I’ve ever had fresh, hot rice and crispy chicken and yummy saucy veges underneath. And even though they were super busy we waited a maximum of ten minutes, such calm polite quick service!! Really recommend ordering off the menu delicious!
Love the bento box and ramen
Usually very low on food but they notify you when the next batch of food will be brought out. Sometimes they close earlier than advertised but the food is generally fresh and tasty.
