Still a wonderful little spot, customer service was amazing, and the food was excellent. I'd not been since the place was sold as I moved to the south island before it sold, so I was pleasantly surprised having takeaways last night while on holiday here and found it to still be an award worthy takeaway shop. Highly recommend a stop in if you're in the area to do so.
Everything was great. The food, the staff working there and the overall atmosphere of the store. Will definitely comeback again.

One of the best burgers I have ever had builders burger I would say the best burger I have ever had from a fish and chip shop. Chips are bang on too! I want to go back and try the other things on the menu. Location has great places near by to take your take aways to so you can eat with a view of the beach of the mountain or both. Be careful here it's easy to order too much food.

This place is a must for anyone passing through. The fish and chips were second to none. Not to mention the homemade cheesecakes which were sublime. The burgers we ordered were just as flawless. Everything you’d ever need from a fish and chip shop. Great value for money. Beautiful older lady with great hospitality. Wonderful.
They were the best Fish and Chips I tried in New Zealand, all my friends agreed on it, and we had no idea it was also rated as the best in the country, stopped by accident but we are glad we did, incredible staff and food. We will come back soon.
