We are a small club with a big heart. Okaihau Rugby is about family and community.
Rugged determination and a strong community spirit have shaped the Okaihau Rugby Football club for nearly 100 years.
The club has a proud tradition which dates back to the 1920’s and has produced many fine players, including three Maori All Blacks (the Toki brothers, Leon, Ness and James), All Black Eric Rush as well as a number of players in Northland provincial rugby.
We offer our members and our community a venue where sportsmanship is a culture, where strength of character is nurtured.
A place that builds strong men and woman on the field, so that they can be strong men and women off the field.
