Staying at the Okaihau Rail Stay is unique and well worth it. Situate right at the path of the Twin Coast Trail the trail can be tackled in either direction.The facilities are spotless and well appointed. A shuttle service can be added to the stay easily. Noeline is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.
Have a lovely evening. Noeline was helpful, attentive and the facilities were perfect. If you’re on the bike doing the twin coast cycle trail it’s on the route - ideal.
A great place to stay while riding the cycle trail with a lovely hostess. It had everything we needed. The rail theme was great and it was very comfortable. We would definitely reccommend staying here.
Beautiful grounds
Great place to stay! Noeline and Maeo the dog were great hosts.
We stayed over the long weekend and had a fabulous time. The place is quaint, and has a nice flat grass area for motorhomes. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and has a homely feel. Recommend if you are passing through or looking to do the twin coast cycle trail.

We recently stayed in the paddock provided for motorhomes/caravans, so not in the actual carriages, but were invited to view them. The grounds, setting and accommodation are immaculate and very unique, with the owners also very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location worked well for us as base for sections of the Rail Trail
