This page is for parents and children who attend Okaihau Playcentre
Hi all, this page is for anyone who goes to Okaihau Playcentre to share photos, ideas, information etc. We can use it to inform parents if Playcentre will be closed, to let people know about trips, to share information between Big Kids and General, and to help facilitate any planning we are doing for things like fundraisers or events.
If anyone is looking because they are interested in Okaihau Playcentre, our hours are 9.00-12.30ish. On Mon, Wed, Fri we have a general session where parents attend with their babies/toddlers/pre-schoolers, it is fun, friendly and free, a great place for both parents and kids to socialize with others. There is a huge range of things to do and play with, both outdoors and indoors. Tuesdays and Thursdays are 'Big Kids' (3yrs plus) drop off sessions which are taken by two dedicated early childhood teachers who provide awesome learning experiences for older pre-schoolers. These sessions are also free using the 20 hours free ECE, or $25 a term. Please pop in or call us on 4019918 if you would like to find out more :)
