We were heading down to Wellington and stumbled upon Oiko’s thanks to Reddit! So of course, we had to check it out — and wow, totally worth it! Tried all four meat dishes because why not? and every bite was pure YUM. They were busy on this Saturday night, but service was excellent!
First time here tonight, adults and teens Meal was absolutely awesome. Had Lamb shoulder, beef meatballs, pork, chicken, and pawns, everyone in the family loved them all. Plus potatoes, veges and salad, all greatnWe will be back and we will be telling all our mates.
Dined at Oikos for the first time this evening, and we will definitely be back.nnWe ordered a variety of dishes to share – the lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken skewers were delicious, and the honey feta was lovely.nnThe portion sizes aren’t massive, but this is the sort of restaurant you’d visit for the experience and the quality of flavours, rather than to leave feeling absolutely full.nnMy only suggestions would be to provide salt and pepper on the tables and to consider offering some non-alcoholic wine options.nnWarm service and a lovely atmosphere – many thanks!
I am inspired to write this review after finishing leftovers from last night's feast. This is literally the best restaurant in Wellington. The food is incredible, well priced, vibes are immaculate and the staff are so lovely. We get the shared menu and the honey feta is just *chefs kiss. Lamb is so succulent and the flat bread...don't get me started..... 10/10 amazing!
Had an amazing meal here last night. Well worth the drive from Upper Hutt! Been wanting to visit for some time and we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious. Super keen to return and try more dishes off the menu. Congratulations to the Oikos family for what they have created here.
