Great spot to see glowworms. Easy 10/15 mins walk and the sky is super clear to see a few shooting stars.
Lovely camp with friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant grassy sites near the beach. Sand dunes along beach. Grounds well kept. Facilities well appointed, organised and very clean. We started out staying for three days but left over a week later.

It's been a great location for family holidays for 20 years now. Great location close to harbour and surf beach, and close enough to Opotiki to make it easy to get all the stuff you may need. Happy to recommend to anyone happy with a campground experience.
