I just wanted to share and make a recommendation of this lovely red wine Pinot Noir from Ohau winery the 2019 woven Stone. A very smooth easy drinking tasty red wine definitely recommend it.
Wine varieties are excellent. Prices are reasonable and occasional specials are worth a look. And the staff are all great!!
This is the only vineyard in Horowhenua and offers very good quality wines. We had on several occasions their Pinot Gris, bought downtown in Wellington. A tasting onsite helped us to understand this winery and what else they produce. This is a winery where you can buy any wine without tasting. That shows how consist their wine quality is. Will be back again sometime in the future.
It was a worth doing stop on our way from Wellington to Lake Taupo. Very friendly, great wines. Professional explanations. We will enjoy the bought wines on the last days of our trip. Thank you very much!
