This beach has so much to offer. Great for family outings.
Nice beach next to Port Taranaki. If you go for a walk along the beach take a bag. Lots of rubbish coming out of the storm water drains that feed onto the beach.
Great place for kids amazing playground the beach is awesome and sheltered so the waves are gentle and little ones. There is a shower and changing room. There is a grass area with benches and there is a sand area for amazing sand castle and picnic play.
Beautiful beach day and topped it off with Mr Whipp. Delish.

Always great to go to the market on a beautiful day , visit the Fillipino food trailer folks , its lovely , 5 stars +g s t .
On a rough windy, rainy day watching ships leave harbour because it's too rough at port makes an interesting few hours. It amazes me how those small tugs push/pull those massive ships in and out and remain unscathed. Well done wharvies on such a blustering day.
