The crew was awesome! Long time out on the water with an hour in the water! The crew was very knowledgeable about the area and very aware of the surroundings. We saw a of of Hawaiian spinner dolphins with a calf and they came within 10 feet of the boat! Lifelong dream fulfilled! In addition to that we saw tons of fish, a good number of sea turtles, a spotted eel, and a white tipped reef shark! The lunch they served was delicious as well! True Hawaiian experience as far as a guided snorkel trip goes. Loved it and would absolutely book again!
We did the early tour and The crew was top notch Friendly warm and helpful. The entire cruise felt like a local outing not touristy at all. Soon as we left the dock island vibes all the way. Smooth and relaxing with good tunes. Good food lots of drinks after snorkeling amongst some beautiful sea life. Everything is timed out perfectly so it never feels rushed. I highly recommend this tour. Worth the cost no regrets.
The staff and Captain were so kind and helpful! Any questions we had they were happy to answer and they pointed out animals for us to see so we could take pictures. The snorkeling didn’t work out for me personally but I could see that others had a great time and were able to see lots of fish and turtles! On the way out we got to see a pod of dolphins and little babies! The captain stopped and let us take a lot of pictures and videos. He took his time to make sure we really got to enjoy our experience. Everyone was very informative when going through the safety concerns and teaching us how to use the masks and flippers and our life jackets. The food was also really good! I could t recommend going on this snorkeling adventure if not to snorkel then to just enjoy seeing the animals you have the chance to see and the gorgeous views! It truly is a once in a lifetime experience :
Our family had a wonderful time with the staff and crew of Ocean Joy Cruises! From the moment we arrived at the Marina, we were warmly welcomed. There was an on-board photographer, capturing all the moments, so we didn’t have to worry about holding onto our phones and possibly losing them in the ocean!. They provided us with several soft drink options, water, and coffee at the beginning of the trip. During the snorkeling portion, we got to swim for about 45 minutes, and we got to see so much awesome sea life! We saw two monk seals a rarity!, several sea turtles, an octopus, so many colorful fish, and once we all returned to the catamaran… the captain was able to get us to a location where we got to see an Alaskan humpback whale and her baby! The lunch provided was plentiful and tasty, and they had several options for mixed cocktails and beer. We would highly recommend this trip! Thank you to the staff of OJC! We had a great time :
An amazing excursion! The crew was very communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. We rode along the western coast which was stunning and we saw whales and 30+ dolphins - it was so beautiful to watch! Then we got to snorkel for a good amount of time and my friend and I had so much fun. The Hawaiian lunch was delicious and I have a lot of food allergies but they were all very accommodating! I highly recommend taking this trip! We did it in the morning and it wasn’t cold at all :
The snorkeling sunset cruise we did was well worth the money! We saw a pack of dolphins that swam alongside our boat for a good long time, a beautiful snorkeling spot with turtles and the most awesome sunset that I’ve ever seen! The food and drinks were great, and all of the staff were knowledgeable, hard working and super friendly!! I would definitely recommend this trip!!!
Absolutely wonderful! From start to finish. The crew was very personable and the boat was set up with everything you need from restrooms, snorkel equipment, food, drinks, and even ginger pills. The food & drinks were fantastic and were not limited! I highly recommend this snorkel, sunset cruise for a great time with family and friends!
Absolutely amazing. Crew was great and kept a fun and invigorating atmosphere. Plenty of aquatic life to see while snorkeling and lots of humpback whales to watch we went in February. Food after the snorkeling on the boat was great. Have a smaller amout of people on the boat I think we had like 15 - 20 made for a very pleasurable time. We will definitely be organizing another trip with Ocean Joy the next time we are back in Hawaii for sure!
The crew of Ocean Joy is always amazing. The boat was incredible, very stable, very spacious, has clean restrooms up on the main level and had stainless steel railing around the entire vessel. The view is always incredible on the west side of the island, the captain was very informative about the wildlife and scenery that we would experience. The snorkeling was fun with lots of fish and turtles all around. That food was delicious and very fresh. If you like boats, this is one of the most amazing excursions you can experience on Oahu. You owe it to yourself to go on this boat. Wow, what an amazing trip.
Captain Doug and the crew were amazing. Snorkeling for my first time with a Rare Disease and muscle weakness called Pompe, they helped walking around the catamaran. There were 2 handrails with steps into the water and a 3 step ladder in the water to help climb out of the water and into the catamaran. They provided mask, snorkel, fins, safety vest and a pool noodle for extra flotation. The cruise was very smooth and I felt very comfortable being on the catamaran. It was the best experience on our vacation. Highly recommend Ocean Joy Cruises!
