Ocean Beach Railway is New Zealand's first and Dunedin's only preservation railway operating heritage rolling stock and locomotives.
Ocean Beach Railway was established in 1961 as New Zealand's first preservation railway.
Today the railway has one of New Zealand's most diverse railway collections.
Ocean Beach Railway houses a variety of steam and diesel locomotives, both operational and under preservation. The collection of award winning rolling stock is one of the best in the Country.
Trains usually run on most Sunday's during the summer months (Labour Weekend - Easter).
