Our group of friends went to the women’s high ropes course with Kate and her team. They were helpful, incredibly supportive and really took the time to teach us all the valuable skills we needed to be safe and successfully challenge ourselves. We had a fantastic day! Thankyou
Have been to 2 womens adventure days run by first step outdoors and have had an amazing time! They are well organised, friendly, knowledgeable and always up for a good laugh. Cannot recommend them enough!
I had the most amazing time at the Women's Only Adventure Day on 21 May. The staff were super professional and friendly and all women too!, the food was delicious and even going alone I felt very welcomed into the group of women. I was hesitant about whether I could do all of the activities but loved that I could give things a try without judgement. WONDERFUL.
This is a fantastic day out for female teenagers and their mums who are keen to experience some outdoors adventure in a safe environment. The staff are wonderful, extremely knowledgable, enthusiastic and supportive. We had a fabulous day and highly recommend.
Just had the most amazing day out with the 'First Step Outdoors' crew, thankyou team!! Everything was so professionally run - excellent safety, great food & coffee, super friendly staff & nice to meet some other adventurous women. Was awesome to see so many women coming along for the day on their own - everyone got to know each other & got along so well.

I had a wonderful time on the half day caving trip. Fantastically organized, this trip was achievable for all and loads of fun. Kate and her team were encouraging and offered challenges for all levels. Would definitely recommend this outer world experience
Fantastic day out for us at Pirongia Forest Park Lodge. Kate and her team certainly have experience and abundant knowledge of the maunga making it interesting and educational for the class. Highly recommend this venue and team.
Outstanding and very knowledgable instructors who educated a large group of 70 students across this recent week. Students and teachers had loads of fun sailing, kayaking, caving, mountain biking, rock climbing, abseiling and being in the outdoors! Could not have asked for a better week! We will definitely be back!
