We love to rescue horses and get them back on their feet. Check out some of our lovely rescued babies and follow their progress.

Story

Oakshott equestrian was started to help people get into or back into the saddle.

Our focus is on the early stages of horse riding, starting a horse under saddle, buy your first horse and helping people get back into horses after perhaps being out of it for some time or loss of confidence.

We run lessons for beginners at our place or at yours. With our ponies or horses or yours. Lessons start at just $25 per hour at our place and $30 at yours if you are in the Waipa district.

We have extensive experience breaking in / starting horses under saddle and can either do this at our place or if you want help to do it yourself we can come to you.

If you have lost your confidence or been out of riding for some time. We can help support you getting back in the saddle and can provide you with lessons, help with finding the perfect horse and teach you confidence building exercises to get you on you way.
