Place runs deals on every night something new, good staff good service live music on Wednesday and 8 buck tui on tap it's not bad

Great pub with a great atmosphere. We just came for a drink and a meal but stayed for the quiz night Tuesday and had a most enjoyable time. The food was good too.
We only went in for a couple of drinks to catch up with some friends, didn't try food but menu looked good, bar staff were great, and happily catered to my requirement of a small jug of soda water to go with my wine! Only down side toilet was a bit whiffy...
They work together with Monteith's it seems so you could order from either menu. They let us customise the things we ordered with different sides etc., and I was able to order a cocktail that wasn't even in the menu. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Meals were priced as you would expect for that quality.
Husband and I got the lamb shanks 2/$31 with garlic potatoes & peas. Definitely would not try this meal again did not care for the meat's flavour and texture; did not care for the potatoes-was expecting garlic flavour, not garlic chunks; might try a different meal if I found myself back in this area though.
Great atmosphere awesome filling food and friendly staff and an enjoyable evening and I love the mantra "in the art of good conversation cell phones will not be tolerated in this establishment
