Story

NZR (short for NZ Real Estate) is a real estate company established two years ago in the Manawatu by Peter and Nicola Barnett. Offices in Wairarapa and Ruapehu were subsequently opened by two longstanding colleagues and friends.

“We wanted to create our own business to enable us to provide the standard of service that at times we felt was curbed by company policies in previous businesses we had worked in. We had both worked in, been managers and shareholders in corporate style real estate companies within the Manawatu and felt we could do better.

Technology has changed the real estate industry enormously and so too have the needs of customers. We have embraced these changes to develop strategies to maximise outcomes for the people who are employing us. We are vendor’s agents first and foremost and this dictates our total strategy.

We love living and working in the Feilding area and providing property owners another option for the marketing of their properties.”

Our office is situated close to the middle of the town, being 400m south of the clock tower on Kimbolton Road.
