What a fantastic camp. Great facilities with a dump station, potable water, recycling and rubbish. Lots of space and a short stroll along the riverbank through Queen Elizabeth Park across the pedestrian swing bridge to great coffee. Friendly park custodian with helpful advice for our first stay in a NZMCA park
This place is awesome. Lots of space, close to town, easy to park, easy access, friendly volunteer warden and right next to a beautiful walk along the river to Henley Park. Stunning location.
Wide open spaces very friendly locals shops and garages close. Very quiet. Dump station immaculate, clean potable water. Lovely Ray the custodian. Well kept grounds. Easy access well sign posted.
Very close proximity to town just a leisurely stroll along stopbank and past deer park then over the swing bridge then through QE Park and New World is just over the road at the northern end of town.
Amazing spot. Safe and private. The best dogs walks ever. I will be back.
