Rangi has learned us surfing with so much passion, energy and a lot of laughs. He is kind, honest and gives great feedback. We stayed in good contact, he always has been reacting quick. We didn’t had any experience, but Rangi teached us step by step how to catch the waves in the most beautiful place.
Rangi and Ben are amazing. Great options of times to learn around mahi. Very safe and well organized. Was standing on my first lesson. Well worth the money!!

Rangi is a very attentive surf coach. He has the right make up to teach and the setting is amazing! The only thing that is sad about rural New Zealand is that safety is always a concern around theft of property, however Surf Bros is very safety conscious and Rangi is making the community better by being involved! Awesome experience! Thank you!
Booked a lesson with Rangi and he went above all expectations! Rangi taught me some great skills, introduced me to some cool local people and brought a few of us out for an extra surf later in the day just for fun. Great outfit, can't wait to come back!
I wasn't sure about taking a beginner lesson as I had a couple of disappointing ones in the past, this was far from disappointing. Our instructor Gabe was engaging and helpful towards us for the whole two hours, helped us whilst in the water and even gave me some specific pointers to change my technique so I managed to continously stand up on the board. Brilliant experience! Highly recommend this place
