NZPost has one of the worst services in NZ, even worse than Auckland Transport, and that says something. I live in onehunga, walking distance to the NZPost branch on onehunga mall road. But instead of that closeby one, they forced me to drive to ellerslie branch 13min drive to pick up a missed parcel, which was missed because they didn’t have a simple way to let me give the PIN to the security gate of my complex to their courier driver, and their courier driver refused to call my mobile phone to ask for the PIN even when they have had my mobile number for years! In 2022 when everyone has a smartphone and you can create an online account or use NZPost mobile app to track your delivery, but you are not allowed to communicate with them directly through the app or website and the only way they communicate to you is through a paper card that says “You missed a parcel” is simply ridiculous. The stupidity of this rigid and outdated system shows why NZ consistently ranks almost at the bottom amongst the OCED countries in terms of productivity, 40% lower than average to be specific.
The post office lady did not inform me clearly way to do my posting. Wasting my extra money. New Zealand post should have a clear guideline to let our consumers know what kind of forms and post envelopes for us to use when we sending out the letters or parcels.
Appalling service, refuse to attempt redelivery after only the first delivery attempt and instead insist that its customer responsibility to collect parcel from mail depo. Avoid using NZpost if possible
NZ post is so terrible it’s funny. They don’t know, or care, what century we’re in. I don’t blame the front line staff it must be a nightmare working there but all the management should be fired.
Quick and easy service to send your post, renew your car license plate or any other car registration related services. Located on main highway which is very convenient.

I tried to send items through them in 2 different occasions, but they couldn't help as their system is updating in both times.
Seriously only 4 people allowed in-store under COVID level 2. Wake up take a look around the real world. One staff managing door entry would be better serving customers and keeping queues inside and outside store down.
FABULOUS SERVICE!!! I had a parcel that was really an awkward shape and I try to fit it into an envelope. The staff at the counter told me didn't have to go into an envelope and they would help me parcel it some cardboard. They did everything except pay for the postage!!! You don't see service like this these days! Thanks guys you are legends
It's a reality that you need to wait in most post shops, they do so many different tasks. But the wait time to queue length here is really good....they are efficient, while still being friendly. I like that a lot!
