Their customer service was very poor. Went to the rosebank road branch today to talk about shoes on 5 July 2024 5 months Anyways we were met with an Indian guy. The shoes were under 6 months warranty. We went on 15 Augest 2024 to replace it because the shoes were not comfortable, it was hurting my feet. But they didn't replace it, even the shoes were under the warranty. They took our invoice just to show their supplier and didn't give it back to us. So, on 11 December 2024, again we went over there to replace our shoes, because now the shoes are totally damaged, even water go inside. Today again we met an Indian male guy. He kept on saying he understood our side of the story but he didn't even try to listen to it. He said that we can't replace it because your warranty is almost finished, but we still have one month warranty till January 2025. Second thing he said that you don't have invoice, but they didn't gave it back to us when first time we went over there for replacement. So, I show them my bank statement where the shoes transaction was done on 5 July 2024. But they clearly said no to accept that transaction. We request them to check their system for the same date, but they didn't even tried to do the same. My point is why they give the warranty if they can't replace the shoes. The overall experience was bad and i would not recommend buying their brand things as they are not your money's worth.
Visited today and the lady hovered over the eftpos terminal, saw I was paying via afterpay then yells out I can't use it, cancels it then asks for my name and phone number, then it'll work. I found this very weird. Now I'm skeptical.
Great place to buy the safety gear needed for all jobs. The staff is great and very helpful. You do get some discount for some company registered with NZ safety blackwoods.
I had some difficulties with the sizing and fit of a particular brand of shoe that I had ordered from the distribution centre. The manager at this store was very understanding and even though I hadn't bought the shoes directly from their store, she helped me through the process of ordering a new size. After trying the new size and still having difficulties, the manager ordered a few more different sizes and with great patience helped me get the best fit for me. The staff were helpful and understanding. I appreciate the effort they went through to help me out when they could have just said 'no refunds' or something. Because they were so nice, I would buy from here again.
If i could give them zero stars i would. Their customer service was very poor. Anyways we were met with an Indian lady who while reading the receipt said if we wanted quality we should have spent more money when we spent $90 on a pair of Huntly shoes. Which fine we agree with but once she said it was their brands shoes we were confused because why is their own brand shoes not made with materials that last longer? Why are they underpaying for materials the shoes is made of? Anyways she goes to bring a supervisor called Ashley who seemed very uninterested in hearing our side of the story. Came and instantly declared our shoes as a wear and tear without inspecting them properly. She kept on saying she understood our side of the story but she didn't even try to listen to it. And then we pushed her a bit more and she said she would email the corporate head or something. The overall experience was bad and i would not recommend buying their brand things as they are not your money's worth.
