I had my passport redirected there and I hadn’t received an update for 2 days after NZ post said it would arrive. When I went into the store today there was already a queue when I finally got to the counter he had answered a personal call on his cellphone. I gave my ID and said I’m here to pick up a package then without looking at my ID he said I needed to come back with my tracking number so I walked back to the car and came back no one else was there and he was still on his cellphone talking. Made me wait another 5mins until he looked at the tracking on my phone didn’t say anything went to the back to look 2 mins later came back and said nothing was there I had to ring Customer service. I called customer service who then said it was already delivered to go back and check, third time back in I gave the Indian man working there the phone and said customer service wants to talk to him, after another 5mins being told by them it had already been delivered him looking in the back again and answering another personal call on his cell phone he came back to the counter where my package was sitting on the file cabinet behind the counter all along which had my NZ passport in it, still on his cellphone he didn’t say anything or apologise just told me to sign and handed it over. Very unprofessional, uninterested in his job maybe he should get someone else to work there. I don’t recommend dealing with them unless you want to get mucked around and by the look of the reviews it’s not uncommon behaviour.
Great customer service with a smile. Always helpful and positive attitudes. Always a pleasure going to the Tuakau Post Shop.
Very poor experience with NZ Post Tuakau. I had my Passport sent there so I wouldn't miss it, but it's been a week and no one is staffing the store, nor answering their phone or emails. Even NZ Post Investigations Team can't contact them.nDON'T GET PACKAGES SENT THERE.... WHO KNOWS WHEN THEY'LL SHOW UP TO WORK TO PROCESS IT
If your opening hours state 9am open, then be open at 9am! Not putting up a sign at 9:30. Lots of people inconvenienced this morning due to a lack of customer service.
Not very happy with the post shop a tuakau l live in mercerfor the 16 month now I've had some really important paper work that was mean to come in the mail haven't received and of it it goes back to the bank or winzs pension cards bank card driver license and other stuff so why is this happing other people that live in the other Fram houses get there's and not me mercer ferry rd not hard to find
