The NZ Art Show makes it easy and affordable for any New Zealander to own a piece of quality original NZ art. The average price is $700.

Story

The NZ Art Show has at its core three operations: a three-day art event held each year in Wellington, an online art gallery and an awards system to assist emerging artists.

The NZ Art Show art event is the largest curated art sale of its kind and it exhibits thousands of original artworks by hundreds of NZ artists: the emphasis is on quality NZ art at affordable prices by emerging and established artists in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
In 2016 the show will be held June 3 - 5 in the TSB Bank Arena, Queens Wharf on Wellington’s vibrant waterfront. The show will be preceded by a Gala Evening on June 2.

An online art gallery features on the NZ Art Show website - artshow.co.nz. A dynamic online art experience featuring over 130 artists, artshow.co.nz offers a range of styles and prices to suit everyone and art can be purchased directly from the artist.


Awards: The Signature Piece Art Award ($3,000) and the NZ Art Show Emerging Artist Award (4 prizes of $2,500)
