Pump = 3/5nCustomer service = 4/5nnNot hugely happy as the pump itself didn't work completely and rather than pumping the $20 I requested only pumped $15.49 close to.nHaving said that, when I called the help number Tyne phone was answered quickly and the lovely lady assured me that my card had only been charged with the amount taken.nThis amount enabled me to get to my next destination but would have been an issue is I was on my way to Picton.nThere was no explanation as to 'why' the pump malfunctioned and the dairy next to it is unrelated.
Grown up in Hira going here and all the owners have been amazing. Very friendly people and lots of snacks, etc.
Called in for an ice-cream and met the lovely owner. He was a happy chap and was serving a young fellow who's credit card had declined. I was about to pay for this chaps purchase myself when the owner said to him that all was good and to have a happy Christmas. How neat was that. Top marks to this fella from Hira
This review is for the little Hira Store rather than the petrol station which I have not used. The store is great with super friendly staff. Nice quick stop to grab an ice cold drink and a snack before the twists and turns to Blenheim.
Good selection, friendly family crew. 24 hour petrol with card payment outside - nice little swing for tamariki outside opposite the bus stop which is good for parking while you have your morning coffee- world famous ice cream too btw. Not so secret top spot for local everyday supplies love your work ;
