I have had an incredibly bad experience with Novus Taupō . Which is a shame as I have used them repeatedly over the last 5 years at least, repairing windscreens to the fleet of vehicles I have -nI drove to their shop on Jan 30th 2024 and had my windscreen inspected measured and an appointment booked in for the 16th Jan 2024 for crack repair .nnJan 6th I received a call saying I needed to advise my provider AA insurancenJan 7th I received the pre approval from AAnJan 7th Novus said my booking was now for the 21st, I advised it was previously booked for the 16th . At first they disclaimed my statement, then mysteriously found some notes and booked me in for the 16thnJan 15th I dropped my car in ready, for the 16th.nJan 16th I phoned to follow up and they said they had been trying to get hold of me they hadn't and had received the incorrect windscreen I'm starting to smell a rat and said windscreen would be here on the 17thnJan 17th I picked up my car to find the mirror attachment to the windscreen broken - Novus claimed it was broken prior to this the rat I smelled earlier is now becoming putrid I denied this -they washed their hands of it , offering and wanting to do nothing further .nI have notified their franchisornI have notified my insurancenI am now notifying the public - be wary of themnGood news there is one lovely lady who I wish the best and suggest she look for new employment .
