Story

Nova U Backpackers takes the idea we have of affordable accommodation for the keen traveler and simply takes it so much further. Situated on the outskirts of Havelock North in the Sunny Hawke's Bay; this is not a hostel, Nova U is a Kiwi Lifestyle Experience and everyone who is lucky enough to visit it gets to see and feel just that. Ultimately, this is a gathering place for travelers and like-minded people and we take our job very seriously.

Current Rates (As at 27th of January, 2017) are between $15 NZD (incl. GST) to $25 NZD (Incl. GST). Rates are quoted on a per person, per night schedule. Regardless of whether you are sleeping in your Van or in a Tent or you end up wanting to crash in a more private room; we are always here to do our best to try and work with your individual needs. We regularly offer work in exchange for some limited free accommodation and are more than happy to provide transport for those necessary trips :)
