I attended a zoom workshop with Janice to learn how to make sauerkraut. Prior to the workshop a list of ingredients and equipment were sent and during the workshop Janice gave detailed and informative instruction with a full demonstration of how to prepare the fermentation. Options were given for various ingredients and it was possible to work alongside Janice to prepare my own fermentation. I was able to ask questions and full and clear instructions were given regarding how to avoid problems and how to adapt recipes. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and cannot wait to taste my apple and caraway kraut. Class notes were made available after the workshop with more recipes to try. Highly recommend this class to others. Janice is very passionate about her topics.
Spent an amazing afternoon with Janice learning so much about improving my wellbeing through the use of fermented veggies. Demonstrations, hands on practice and goodies to sample as well being provided with 2 Kilner jars and beautiful raw ingredients to make our own Sauerkrauts. Topped off with a little Kambucha & yummy healthy, homemade chocolate treat. Janice is a knowledgeable, professionally trained food scientist with a friendly warm welcoming personality. Highly recommend her and cannot wait for her new on line Facebook initiative. An excellent workshop
My partner and I attend Janice’s fantastically insightful kombucha workshop last weekend. We cannot recommend the workshop highly enough! Janice is so down to earth and demystified the process whilst highlighting how enjoyable the process can be. We got to ask questions and learn tips along the way whilst tasting a variety of Janice’s homemade kombuchas. We left with a gifted scoby and are well on our way to making our first batches. Thank you again!
Brilliant workshop - really good practical tips, definitely takes a lot of the mystery away - followed the instructions and made brilliant bread first attempt. Janice was excellent workshop was fun and interactive - I learned a lot!
I learned so much About the gut and how sauerkraut works to restore our Microbiomes. Janice speaks from her science degree in the field and years of experience so you know her classes and knowledge is based on a wealth of knowledge. Classes are so friendly and inviting too! I had a great day learning all about sourdough. We sampled many different recipes - delicious! - whilst Janice told us all we need to know about creating our own versions and the health benefits associated with it. Janice gave us one simple recipe and the understanding of the background basics of what makes the best sourdough. She then inspired us with the variations and additions to the recipe that we could take in whichever direction we wanted. Janice has taken all the fear and complicated mystery out of making sourdough, whilst igniting a passion for exploring the magic of healthy fermenting
Attended my first workshop with Janice at the weekend. Came away totally inspired. It just makes you feel empowered to try different things, which I did as soon as I got home. She has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge and experience. The recipes, which were emailed to me later, are fantastic. When it tastes that good you forget it's so amazingly healthy! Can't wait to try more of the recipes. It's so easy and fun to do once you know how. Thanks Janice. So pleased with these new skills!
My partner and I attended Janice’s sourdough workshop yesterday. We both have a bit of breadmaking experience and have aspired to making sourdough for years - we’ve read a lot about it and I’ve even been on a course - but never actually worked out how to put our knowledge to practical use. It has always seemed a bit complicated! Janice completely demystified the process and taught us how to make sourdough part of our everyday lives. We are both feeling very inspired - and Janice’s bread is absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed spending time with the other group members. Janice has a very warm, friendly, welcoming and inclusive approach. I would definitely recommend this workshop and will certainly be attending other courses in future!
Attended a sourdough workshop with Janice. Wonderful day spent with such a lovely group. There is nothing janice doesn’t know about sourdough, all information was geared towards newbies and everything needed to get started on your first sourdough. Got to taste some of the best sourdough I’ve ever tasted and got a little goody bag to take home. Highly recommend
Attended my first Kombucha masterclass on Sunday. I was blown away by Janices' depth of knowledge and she made it so interesting. I knew very little about this amazing drink, but after tasting numerous flavours that Janice brought along I'm an absolute convert. The health benefits are truly astounding and I've already order my kilner, bottles and heat pad. Recommend this session to anyone especially if you're interested in how to enhance your wellbeing in a healthy natural way
