Seriously great coffee and the atmosphere is amazing.nnFood on the other hand is very hard to judge, some items are real stand outs and some items are straight out of the supermarkets frozen meal section.nkeep it simple when ordering like eggs options except the eggs benedict, basic breakfast items or burgers and you wont have a problem.nnThey have surprisingly competent outdoor area thats well enough maintained and fenced! that the little ones will love, which includes a bunny and slide.nDefinitely gains extra points for this as its above expectations.
My wife and I have recently visited this cafe. It is only 10 minutes from Bethlehem and conveniently located just off the roundabout.nThere are seats both indoors and outdoors. Indoor has a warm atmosphere, particularly due to the wooden interior design. It’s very spacious and can accommodate a large group also.nnThe food was nice. I had the kumara stack and it was nicely cooked. Outside was crispy yet inside was mushy as you would expect with sweet potatoes. I was surprised to see that spinach wasn’t cooked but served raw. It was a nice crunch but perhaps would have suited better blanched.nnWe also tried some cabinet food and were very decent. Portion is generous.nnService is outstanding. All staff were very polite and always keep an eye on tables to take away empty dishes. At the same time, they don’t interfere your dining.nnMy wife and I would definitely come back to try some other menus at some stage. I’d love to be served by the same staff again.
The food is average. Waited for the food to be delivered to tell one of us that they couldn’t make a dish because they had no spinach so we all ate at different times.nNo toilet paper in the parents room.nThey make a good smoothie. That’s about it.nDon’t know why this place has so many good reviews. It may have changed ownership.
Nourish used to be amazing. We came back as a family hoping to enjoy a nice coffee and brunch, but were really disappointed. The food portions were far too small for the price. I ordered the avocado on toast , in Te Puna, where avocados are plentiful and shouldn’t be expensive, and it cost $19 for what looked like a kids' meal portion.nnThe coffee was nice, so that’s one positive. But the experience overall wasn’t great. One of the waitresses was pulling the dirty plates trolley around the area where we were eating — it felt more like a rest home than a café. Our table and chairs didn’t feel clean either; everything was sticky. When a waitress came to wipe the table, the cloth was clearly dirty and had food bits from someone else’s table on it.nnReally, really disappointing. We won’t be coming back
My friend n I popped in for a coffee n snack.. the coffee was delicious, the cupcake abit dry like it had been thawed out.. leaving a skin on the cream.. abit disappointed but the muffins lovely fresh n tasty... not sure if I'll go back tho.. sori..
