Northland Kayak Fishing Classic will be held 11-13 November 2016. This is a yearly fishing competition sponsored by Viking Kayaks NZ.
The event will be held Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th November 2016, with a compulsory registration and briefing on the evening of Friday 11th of November.
Registration will begin at 5:00pm, and the short briefing will be at 7:00pm at the Tikipunga Tavern, Whangarei (this is compulsory).
Commence fishing 5:00am Saturday 12th.
Weigh in opens 1:00pm Sunday 13th.
Weigh in closes 3:00pm Sunday 13th.
Boundary for fishing is north of Mangawhai Heads on the east coast, and Pouto Point on the west coast.
