I came here for dinner with a group of friends, the company was fabulous, unfortunately everything else was far from it. The service particularly was terrible, the waitress was unpleasant and just plain rude, the food took over 45 minutes to come out, and honestly the standard of it was not worth the wait. My first and last time having a meal here, do not recommend!
Went to the Restaurant on Boxing day, was so impressed with the daily lunch special - value for money and quality food. We had the burger plenty of cheese and fish & chips they dont use the cheap stuff. Service was quick and friendly, there was a table for free coffee/tea as well. Spacious with lots of tables. Will visit again when in Dargarville.
LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS..nRestaurant downstairs served delicious food, however the accommodation and facilities were not well maintained. With unclean leaky showers, no cutlery and old T&C condiments. There was nothing to make the 8hours of our stay comfortable, aside from a saving grace tv with tatted furniture.
It’s easy reachable near the highway but that’s it with positive things.nFirstly, the reception wasn’t occupied I don’t think it ever is so we had to go into the bar to find a staff member.nSecondly, the toilets and showers weren’t clean at all and looked like they haven’t been cleaned for a long time.nThirdly, our door lock wasn’t screwed in fully so it was really hard to close the door so that it is locked.nLastly, you can hear all the music from the bar on the weekend in the rooms.
The room was way smaller than expected. No PowerPoints and wifi did not work. We could hear people standing outside our door and yell. There is a communal kitchen and unfortunately we were assigned right next to it. We could hear and smell everything cooking.
