7 hour que to get in which made me miss the main act I went to see. 6 people bag checking all campers and 6 people giving wristbands for the entire festival. Literally stopped both day pass and campings lines because the wristband line got to big. Worst run festival I’ve been too.
Stayed at the bass hotel with my partner and friend. Had a premo time, staff were friendly and helpful. Hill was a mission to walkup but the shuttles saved me multiple times. Good food setup, few more hot food stalls would be good. Line ups and stages well done, good times bringing in 18'
so badly organised, hours spent waiting on lines for absolutely everything - drinks, wristbands, security, wayver. Don’t sell tickets if you can’t follow through. Staff were all good but the whole experience and communication from NB made you forget you were actually a paying customer !!!
A really decent new years eve festival! Bit smaller than the other main NYE festival which makes it easier to navigate in terms of size and easier to meet people. The proximity to beautiful northland beaches means you are only 15 minutes away from white sand and clear blue sea which is the ultimate way to spend your days as you go to the festival in the evenings.
Northern Bass is a fantastic new years festival! If you love Drum and Bass, dancing, amazing acts & all round great times in the sun, then it's the place to go!!

Such a bad line to get in to the festival, waiting for ages and it’s not moving at all
The lines, say no more. Need more bars, it's perfetic
Festival was fine, however the experience in and out of the festival was very poor. It took us an hour and a half to get back in to the festival after going to the beach on the 31st. Organisationally they have a long way to go compared to rhythm and vines.
Had a very small refund window due to Covid cancelling the event which I had missed out on because their comms email ended up in my spam folder. Not happy
