NTSRINC is an Incorporated Society comprised of Foundation Member Clubs (Ruakura Netball, Tysons Netball, 99ers Basketball, Waitara High School, Waitara Gym Sports , Waitara Rugby League and Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa).
The Society was formed in 2013 to deliver the following purposes
- Facilitating and promoting a range of sporting, community & recreation opportunities for all ages, interests and abilities in the Waitara Community and its surrounding districts.
- Providing a management and governance structure to streamline the delivery of sport, community and recreation in Waitara and the surrounding communities.
- Assisting in the delivering of sustainable sport, community and recreation opportunities.
- To educate of the associated health benefits and further facilitate people to take part in sport, recreation and any other activity that is good for their health.
- The ongoing development and improvement of facilities for its member activities.
