Story

North Shore Aero Club is one of New Zealand’s largest Aero Clubs. We operate several Robin 2120 aircraft as our main training aircraft, as well as the aerobatic Robin 2160, Cessna 172’s, the multi-engine Duchess aircraft and the Tecnam P2008 Light Sport.

We can help with any type of training you wish to achieve, whether it’s gaining your Private Pilot’s Licence, Commercial Licence, Instrument Rating, Aerobatic Rating, or simply learning to fly a new aircraft.

What an amazing and fun experience! Highly recommend it, all staff are very professional and they makes you feel comfortable. They welcomed me with a huge smile and then it was time for a very accurate briefing, I could also choose the flight path and flyzone. Once ready to leave is time for a complete a pre flight check and explanation; petrol, oil, air vent, tires… Experience at 360 degrees! The weather was a bit windy but my instructor did an outstanding job, once in the air I could take control of the plane and fly the plane myself, I was so excited to speak with control centre as they made us aware of other planes in the area and diverted our flight path accordingly.  10/10 experience!

Had an amazing experience with James and I am now hooked. I was able to fly for the majority of the flight with James taking over for the more technical aspects like landing and takeoff. Great views, challenging but fun experience! Plan to come back to get a PPL once I can afford to!

&gt; I just wanted to say a big thank you for our flight on Saturday. My instructor, Brendan was  fantastic. My granddaughter hasn’t stopped talking about it and cant believe Pops was actually doing some of the flying! &gt; The first time for my daughter in a Cessna as well. I had such a great time! A wonderful way to get a taste of what it would be like to have a private pilot's licence. Thank you Abigail for being an excellent instructor. I highly recommend NSAC .  The attached video that I put together shows the path of our flight .

Misha and Caleb were awesome! Caleb provided an amazing in-flight experience, and truly was a nice experience.  Mind you, all the pilots we came across were very kind.  Thank you all!

I booked a trail flight as a birthday present. The team were really responsive over email when booking and in the lead up to the date,  and he had a great time! The team can adapt to all levels of skill and confidence to ensure a great experience. Would recommend for any aviation enthusiast!

I had an absolutely amazing flying experience last Saturday with my instructor Josh. He was excellent, kind, comforting & very professional, will definately be doing this again sometime, so much fun, once my nerves calmed down, and I learnt so much aswell, thank you NSAC!

Dam supercool activity myself and my partner experienced. I gifted for my partner’s bday, he totally enjoyed and it made his day. The pilot jose and other staffs were so kind, professional and entertaining. We flewed the cessnar trial flight with G’s,  twist and turns. Highly recommended place to experience the ride. Thanku so much guys
