Story

The dream started in 2009 when founder Michael Heaven, started with a seed of an idea to create an animal feed store, the biggest and the best in the region.

It started in a small 24m2 shed at his parents 4 acre property in Woodend. Within 3 years it had become to small, he shifted to another location on the property to the purpose built "Animal Feed and Pet Supplies Store" with a floor area of over 300m2 and a larger parking lot with more developments coming.!

We welcome you to come and visit our humble store just of SH1 here in Woodend.

We have supplies and feed fore:

Horses, Chooks, Pigs, Cattle, Sheep, Alpaca's, Birds, Goats, Rabbit, Guinea pigs, Mice, Rats, Dogs and Cats plus anything in between.

I visit frequently for my wild bird seed and almost always walk out with more than that. We no longer have our cat or our dogs but I still look at the shelves and might have bought things for other peoples cats and dogs I definitely have. Friendly and helpful staff.
Sadly, the current staff at the store leave a lot to be desired. They are rude and unhelpful, with most of them appearing to be injured in some way, and unable to help with getting the supplies into your vehicle. When asked for help, one particular woman was extremely rude and virtually threw the supplies into my car. Bruce is one of the current workers there, but unfortunately, he is leaving the store soon due to the very negative atmosphere that has been created by some of the other employees. After my latest experience today, I won't be doing business here any longer and will be giving some other establishment my hard earned cash.
The service is amazing, the owner is fantastic the staff are very knowledgeable. Always a great visit.
Always friendly and can't beat them for their knowledge, birds, chooks, dogs I stop in for something every few weeks
Rude female staff member seems to still be an issue, I also wanted to support local but will happily go out of my way to not have to deal with someone so rude and seriously lacking in people skills. Word of mouth can be a very powerful thing for a small business.
Wanted to support a local business in these crazy times but won’t be going back due to rude staff not acknowledging, helping or attempting to assist me. I was the only person in the store at the time too. Bought some items as they were really needed at the time however the lady serving me was cold and unwelcoming. I understand that we all have bad days but it isn’t that hard to say ‘hello’ and smile.
Great service and excellent range if products.
There is a staff member here, Danni Armstrong, that has no customer service skills and is constantly rude and unhelpful. This is a shame since the rest of the staff are generally pleasant and knowledgeable. If you can avoid this staff member then it is worth going there...if you cannot then advise you shop elsewhere
The best range of animal products that I have seen in Canterbury.
Excellent knowledge and range. Had time to give extended individual advice. No nonsense attitude.
