We goggle this place and have it a try. We ordered 3 dishes for 2 person, which cost $58. The soup taste good, except they use dory fish, which become soft when soak inside the soup for a long time, and make the fish taste soggy. Give it a 3 star. The is average, the batter is a bit thick and you can taste the flavour only at the exterior, the meat inside is not that tasty. Give it a 3-star. The taste good, and it will taste even better if they deep fried the chicken, rather than simply stir fried. I give it a 4 star.
I think they cook nice Chinese meal with reasonable price in the town centre. Handy location as well~ I usually order roast duck with rice, like itFood: 5/5
Never order from this place. Got the Honey chicken noodles, been running out both ends all day. Never had a bad experience in my life. Not only did it flush my insides, a couple of my friends have also had the same outcome. Not happy at all
Good value for money, good flavor and big portions. We tried the Beef Brisket Soup, Honey Chicken Noodles and BBQ steam bun. We will come back to try other stuffs, recommend for travelers or backpackers on a budget. The place looks clean and fresh ingredients, staff was friendly.
We did a quick check online and found this Chinese restaurant nearby to where we stay. Ordered some rice vermicelli soup with roast duck, pork dumpling, broccoli stir fried with beef and a bbq pork bun. The taste is normal and portion is alright for 2-3pax. The rice vermicelli is quite nice at the first taste but subsequently the Saltiness double up. Probably due to the pickled vegetable added , where this dish is a very typical Cantonese noodle. The stir fried broccoli with beef is normal and we thought the beef served would be better as we are in NZ, we were wrong as the meat added too much tenderizer, which made the meat taste artificial. The dumpling looks more like those frozen pack purchase from supermarket. But our kiddo loves the bbq pork bun where she finished up the whole bun which we unable to take a photo afterwards. The fragrant smell of the steamed bun is quite nice, and the bbq meat is kinda of sweet typical char siew and the meat is in huge chucks. Staff are friendly and helpful though, probably because we speak Cantonese and mandarin with them. We spent $50 NZD here for all the dishes.
Cheap, fast and lots to choose from. Have Chinese, Malaysian and Thai food options. Decor and cleanliness very basic. Staff and service very quick. The qantities we're massive. We had to take half away. We had chilli chicken, pork buns and sambal fried rice. Everything was ok.
Bad experience! This is my first time leaving a bad review like this. The restaurant had many good reviews so we decided to go in. We ordered 3 dishes and they all tasted really disappointed! They don't deserve 4 stars restaurant at all. They are very unprofessional, no passion on making food! They are simply just adding this and that to pretend to be Chinese dishes. This is absolutely not the chinese food taste like. Not even close to the pictures they shown on menu! Perhaps they just want to make money and they think foreigners can't recognise the Chinese food taste like. Also, I feel concerned about the hygienic problem as well since there are more than one bug in our noodle soup. And the guy cleaning the plates is very rough. All of these things come together just make this restaurant unprofessional or not even normal.
Go next door to SeaKraft, same food but 100% better service. The old lady at noodle canteen too often grumpy kept repeating "ah how many" even after I held a single finger to indicate one. So rude she was i had to walk out. But next door i ended up with a cheaper meal, yet same Chinese dish and far better service
My favourite place at the moment. Tried the chicken Pad thai and No. 25 with 12 dumplings and 2 pork buns. Everything was yummy and full of flavour.
Quick to receive my meal. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. It wasn't the best but far from the worst in terms of taste and texture. What got me was the portion size, it was alot bigger that I had expected but this was a blessing as I was starving. Cheers
