We did the LOTR Tour in Queenstown with Ruth and it was awesome. She is so passionate and knows a lot of interesting details about the films and their productions. Furthermore the 4w-drive in the river including gold-seeking and the tour into Skippers canyon were fantastic. We always felt safe and entertained. We can definitely recommend it!
Josh was an awesome tour guide. He gave us heaps of info, was very friendly and easygoing. We saw beautiful places with the tour and had the best time! Definitely worth your time and money to have half day of exploring, off roading, river driving and looking for gold. Thanks Josh and team, will definitely be back for more adventures!
Just came back from one of the best experiences in Queenstown! Some of the most stunning views with adventure of off-road thrills. Also truly appreciated learning the history of Queenstown visiting various majestic locations. From Lord if the Rings film settings to historic landscape views. Driving through rivers to cliff side ridges! Would HIGHLY recommend taking a Nomad Safari tour.
Benjamin just wanted to give us a great experience. I was not very good at quad biking and he decided it was best for me to ride with him while hubby was doing great. Up really steep inclines and down through icy mud, passing sheep with twists and turns and the best view of the peaks and sights around Queenstown Hill. Definitely a ride you won’t forget.
Despite a cold rainy day, our tour guide Gavin made sure we had a fun and memorable tour. The views we did have were incredible, and the off roading was a ton of fun. LOTR filming locations were super cool to see too!
Our instructors were Sam and Braydon. Very professional, experienced and made sure safety was the number one priority. Had a great time with the different terrains from Snow to mud to river rocks. Really made good use of the time. Totally recommend them in a heartbeat.
So much fun and the views are sensational. We did the 2 half day Lord of the Rings 4wd tours, one day after the other, and both we're worth the price we paid. Definitely recommend this if you're an LOTR fan and don't mind 4 wheel driving. Great drivers we had we're Gavin and Brent.
We booked the tour on a whim last minute and so glad we did! Beautiful weather, glorious scenery and our tour guide Brent was knowledgeable, fun and super friendly. An outstanding tour all round.
We were a little nervous at first to do Skippers Canyon but I’m glad we did. It was great having a professional driver and he knew so much about the area. You could tell he loved the area. He moved from England to New Zealand so you could tell his passion for this place. The whole group was a ton of fun.
Nomad Safari has a lot of different activities to offer and I've tried the quad bike trip. If you like adventure and the rush of adrenaline flowing through you then the quad bike trip is something for you... and I can 100% recommend it! I had never driven a quad bike before but the instructions I got were informative and you quickly get a hang of how the bike works! All in all, the trip was a pleasure! Definitely a must do if you're visiting Queenstown NZ!
