Not quite sure how could this business still running. We love and had many korean food before, but the food here tastes under average. I had bulgogi beef and rice dish, I can tell the korean branded bulgogi sauce and the beef might be sliced frozen beef in korean grocery. But it's good to have some vegie here. BTW, they don't offer some of the dishes on google menu, which also a bit disapointing.
They call themselves a Korean dessert cafe which is a shame because it's actually an amazing Korean restaurant. We weren't very familiar with Korean food and have been thrilled to get a good introduction to it here! They specialize in different types of deopbab, which is basically a stir fried meat and veggie dish served over rice similar to Chinese food. So far we've sampled the Bulgogi Deopbab marinated beef and vegetables served over rice, Jeyuk Deopbab spicy stir fried pork and vegetables over rice topped by a fried egg, and Ojing-eo Deopbab spicy stir fried squid and vegetables served over rice topped by a fried egg. All have been amazing, but we particularly loved the spicy pork and squid dishes. Also, the meals are accompanied by a side salad, a small cup of soup, little dishes of kimchi and another marinated dish I don't know the name of, and a chunk of pineapple. It all adds up to a big, very filling meal. We've also had their boba tea, which is excellent, but haven't tried the desserts yet. We plan to come back and sample some other main dishes but we can now proudly say we're huge fans of Korean food!
Great food with friendly and accommodating staff. With a delicious selection of food and dessert to choose from, I was spoilt for choice. Had the Kimchi Fried Rice Omelette and followed with the Injulmi Milk Snow Flake cup. If you like red bean, then you are in heaven.
First off the bat you are welcomed into the shop with a warm calm atmosphere its very clean and the whole place feels much bigger than first percieved. We tried the Bingsu type/shaved milk flakes with strawberries and the mango version as it was a hot day and was delighted with the fresh summer fruits available. Our next visit we tasted thier version of tubokki/tteokbokki and was greatly satisfied with a hit of spicy genius. Noel blanc small but very vibrant front of store is just enough to get anyone to stop by just remember to go past the movies and cross grey street when coming from Davenport enjoy your eating!!
Great Korean meal that is definitely filling. Clean simple design and white lighting make the place look spacious. Staff are friendly and warm too.
I would definitely recommend this place for people wanting to try something new. The service was excellent and staff were really friendly. The food was to a high standard and very filling. I had the Ojingeo Deop Bab, I look forward to trying more from their menu.
Here is such a best place in Taranga has lots of menu and beautiful interior as well. I recommend Korean style meal that deop-bab like donburi. Go grab!
Worth trying! Very well presented and delicious dish! I love the bubble tea so much as well!
Cute little place this one, ordered the chicken katsu on rice. Price was, not too bad but for a simple katsu perhaps a little expensive. Wait time was longer than average but I could see the chicken was battered specifically for my order and it doesn't get fresher than that! Portion size for chicken thigh was excellent although a little heavy on the rice and as a result despite it tasting great, sat like a brick in my stomach for a few hours. Batter was soggy and this was down to over saturating it with yum yum sauce so if you like crisp panko ask for sauce as a side. Overall I was happy with the meal and would definitely consider trying their ramen to see if they can compete with Taurangas infamous "chidori"! Thank you for the meal
I was expecting side dishes like kimchi, rice cakes and etc since most of the Korean restaurants have free side dishes. Foods were delicious though especially the fried chicken.
