Had such a good meal here. All my favourite things in a bowl. Lots of detail in the décor which adds a lot to the experience. Very friendly staff and overall a great experience! Vegetarian options: I had a cauli bowl and it was great! So delicious! Kid-friendliness: There isn't a kids menu but there are definitely menu options available for kids.
Great cantina in the heart of beach town / mount maunagui area of taranga. We hiked the mountain and came here for lunch after. Would definitely come back. Fried fish tacos were my favorite, and the fried chicken was excellent as well. Birria tacos were so flavorful with just a little bit of heat. Drinks all delicious. They pride themselves on their frozen margs but that isn’t really my thing. That being said the mango frozen marg was great. A little sweet but that’s how it’s supposed to be. Patio area great for large groups. Seat yourself and get to drinking!
Loved our dinner last night, and the frozen margs were delicious! Super impressed at the staff as well, place was packed but food and drinks came out quickly, and our glasses didn't stay empty for long. Would highly recommend!Recommended dishesBirria Tacos
Location was good, but food was very over priced. $9.50 per taco, we ordered 2 thinking they would be a lot bigger but still didn’t full us up, was a very tiny taco with very little filling inside it , burger wasn’t much better $30 for a small burger with a handful of fries…
This place definitely has some grunge party vibes but it’s good! We got the pork belly taco and it was absolutely horrible. They were tiny which we were warned of by a friend. We couldn’t even see any pork belly and there was HARD crunchy bits of something mysterious inside that nearly broke our teeth off. We were worried about what our Monster nachos were going to taste like but they actually were actually delicious. I would go back just for those, but won’t be trying anything else.
Went there this weekend again and the Slushy margs are honestly the best things ever, the Garlic Fingers and the chicken tacos never disappoint and make a delightful dinner. The staff is super friendly, especially the German Girl, Luisa we believe her name was, has served us a couple of times and has been extremely lovely and helpful every single visit. The vibes are on point, and an overall rating of 10/10 is well deserved.
The vege burger I had here was one of the best meals I’ve had all year! It was so so good can definitely recommend. The waitress that served us, Luisa, made the experience even better: she was so funny and good to be around! Definitely going to be coming back soon, 5/5 experience.
We had a fantastic time! The food was great. The vibe was great. And the drinks were awesome. We were lucky to have Lucy as our waitress, she was awesome. Her friendliness was so inviting and welcoming and she looked after us while also giving us time to enjoy the experience. I like her! Thanks Lucy! And thanks Roxies!!!! I will be back!
Great Mexican food. Shared Monster Nachos with three of us, a taco each and fried Chicken. Washed down with a Corona. Awesome way to top off my birthday. And great Service. Will be back, cheers
Very disappointed by my experience here. Over priced for what it is. $70 for 2 tiny tacos and 1 drink each. We ended up having to go to another restaurant to enjoy a decent meal. The music inside was so loud we could not have a conversation. Food was deep fried and was swimming in greasy oil on the plate. Would not recommend and certainly will not return.
