I was very very impressed with the whole concept of this shared space with books art, great food and coffee. An iconic position. I brought from all 3. The gallery showcases local art of a high standard displayed tastefully at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit to Rawene.

Nice place for dinner
We went here for lunch. The fish and chips were excellent! Very lovely atmosphere. I really liked it.
I went here to get a coffee and found my cup was dirty! What kind of place is this? The woman running the place was rude and blew me off like it was no big deal. Theres a art gallery in here too but nobody was there to help with that..don't waste your money or time at this place...the Boat Shed cafe is the only decent cafe in town.
Best pizza in Newzealand so far and I tried every pizzaplace I saw during our 9 month of travelling. And on Tuesdays even 5$ of pizzas.

Lovely spot. Also operates as a cafe in summer.
