Nigel was incredible - I had my first haircut with him today after years of doing my curly hair myself because I was too nervous to let anyone else near it. I wish we met years ago! He understood my hair, and what I wanted it to do - he cut exactly to the length I wanted, and gave me some amazing tips on how to get the curl and bounce I was looking for. The tips he gave me included not buying an expensive accessory I had my eye on, so I appreciate that! I left the salon feeling light an amazing, my curls are vibrant and happy, I had a wonderful time talking to Nigel and learning from him - I'm set to be a lifelong happy customer. Decided I needed a little self care and a much overdue cut, so made an appointment with Nigel. Although he was fully booked a whole month in advance, he called me as he had some openings and asked whether I’d like to come earlier no-brainer!. This was just the start of my amazing experience with him. Having put off haircuts for the longest, my hair was in a bit of a state, but that didn’t faze him. He was very polite and incredibly understanding of what I had in mind for my hair. He ran me through what he thought would work, and patiently explained his methods throughout the cut, wash and styling. He definitely knows curls, and is undeniably helpful, offering great little insights on each person’s individual hair type and needs; a font of wisdom on all things curly haired. This is my first curl cut in NZ, and I’ve already secured my next appointment for 2023. Thrilled with the magic he did with my hair. Many thanks Nigel!

I purchased shampoo, conditioner, gel and beach wave spray for my curly hair. Not sure which ingredient it was but it fixed my scalp issues after one wash. No flaking at all after that. It may have been the colloidal silver or white willow bark or everything. Love the natural curls that don't crunch after applying gel. So reasonably priced as well. So glad I found products locally. Cannot wait to visit the salon once we open up again!
Nigel absolutely transformed my tired curly hair. I have learnt soo much about my hair type, curl and colour in my past two appointments than I have in the past 26 years of having curly hair. Nigel is a curly hair guru, and knows what's best for you and your hair. I never thought I could feel this comfortable with my curls. I feel like a whole new me.Services: Hairstyling
