Story

Owned and operated by one of the Hawke’s Bay’s longest serving families with over 100 years of transportation and customer satisfaction experience.
Originating in Havelock North, now based in Whakatu (Hastings), Hawke’s Bay where our main office, depot, and workshop facilities are located. There are additional depots in Napier and Taupo that operate school buses and luxury coaches. The Company operates a fleet of around 100 vehicles in a variety of capacities.

Whether you need a bus for a function, event, work group or school trip, or a 5-star luxury coach to transport your wedding party, clients or tour group, we’re at your service. With one of the newest, youngest and environmentally responsible fleets in the country, and over 100 vehicles, we can meet your needs and surpass your expectations.

Nimon and Sons Ltd hold a current Transport Service License, as well as a Vehicle Rental License, these satisfying legislative requirements for us to operate our business. We also hold a 5-Star Fleet Rating with VTNZ.
Workplace training and assessment is provided within the company to NZQA standards, enabling our drivers to excel at their job. All Drivers hold current First Aid Certificates for your safety.

We are ‘Qualmark Visitor Transport’ endorsed to ensure our customer-care systems are world-class and Nimon and Sons are very proud to have been awarded an ‘Enviro Silver’ endorsement, for meeting the very high standards of Qualmark’s environmental responsibility assessment.
