Nick James moved to New Zealand in 2004. Nick has approximately 40-years experience in the civil engineering/construction and agriculture contracting industries in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
At Nick James Excavations, we aim to make quick work out of the biggest jobs. With our versatile JCB Backhoe Loader, we can arrive, manoeuvre and work on site quickly and easily.
The 8 tonne multi-purpose wheeled backhoe loader has exceptional versatility. From its 6 in 1 front shovel with built-in pallet forks to the 6-meter reach telescopic backhoe with an assortment of buckets (300mm to 1.5m) and concrete/rock breaker, we are capable of handling a wide range of tasks.
This machine is also one of the few fitted with hose burst protection to comply with up to date OSH lifting regulations.
We also carry machine mounted laser-level receiver, diamond concrete saw and cable location equipment.
We also offer a 1.5 tonne Mini-Excavator both operated and self-drive for the smaller work.
We can also supply materials and haulage using our reliable and local sub-contractors who we work closely with.
